This week’s guest mix on Jacbri Radio Show comes from Berlin’s renowned techno DJ & producer, Pacou. Man holding a residency in a legendary Tresor club for a whole decade is also responsible for plenty of quality techno released on labels like Tresor, Music Man, Djax Up Beats, Konsequent etc. (more info at his myspace, official website and discogs). Be sure to check his label Cache, whose fifth release is due soon, with Pacou’s own tracks (previous releases were signed by Robert Armani, Steve Rachmad, Orlando Voorn, Sebastian Kramer). Part 1 of the show brings newest release on Rui Da Silva’s Kismet Records, two tracks off King Fu 002 promo, Next Essence 002, Umek’s “Carbon Occasions” (for which he recorded a video about 2 weeks ago in Barcelona), Misstress Barbara, Swen Weber etc.

This lost 1993 classic, shot on 16mm in Berlin, explores the origins of the now monumentally massive German Trance and Dance music scene. 25 minutes of pure trance music history! With interviews with luminaries such as Dr. Motte, Paul van Dyk, Laurent Garnier, Paul Browse, Mijk van Dijk and MFS label supremo Mark Reeder this now legendary exploration into the underworld of what was the most significant force in driving dance music forward in the 20th century. It contains rare early footage of the 1991 and 1993 Love Parade, and of the now bulldozed Mutoid Waste Company land, E-Werk and Tresor - Berlin’s legendary (and now closed) clubs that started it all in the former East Berlin.
Directed by Ben Hardyment, this documentary is imbued with an uplifting and extremely positive energy - check it out! Btw. there are rumours of a film sequel in the pipeline.

Its actually a showcase of goodies from Clandestine label, established by Wetworks, whome you might heard in some of the previous editions of Jacbri Radio Show, both alone and in combination with Brad Lee as Zeitgeist.
