Underworld - Oblivion With Bells

UK-based electronica outfit Karl Hyde & Rick Smith, aka Underworld, are set to release their fifth studio album, Oblivion With Bells, in October. The album apparently “kicks off like Saturday night with Sven Väth, Simian Mobile Disco and Frankie Knuckles all fighting to get on the decks, then takes you over the flat fields of rural Essex, through Kings Cross with its olympic dreams and piss stained alleys, ending blissed out in a hidden cove in Ibiza.”

Sander Kleinenberg and Renaissance return to present the first musical instalment of his ‘This Is’ moniker… Sander Kleinenberg is a man who needs little introduction, between his many roles as DJ, label boss and producer he also finds time to host parties under his ‘This Is…’ moniker. Public Enemy remixes on the way

Ultra Records has announced an exciting dance remix project that involves the influential hip-hop group Public Enemy and some of electronica’s finest producers. In agreement with Reach Global (Public Enemy’s publisher) and Public Enemy, Ultra Records will provide the world with the first Public Enemy approved DJ remix project. Benny Benassi, Ferry Corsten, and Don Diablo have already signed onto the project, with their remixes scheduled for release on August 21, 2007.
Loveparade 2007: first names announced

Booka Shade, Fedde Le Grand and Westbam will play this year’s Love Parade in Essen on Saturday, August 25, 2007. The three acts join Bad Boy Bill, Chris Liebing, Monika Kruse, Octave One and ATB as some of the first names confirmed to play the transplanted event. This year’s fest will be the first Love Parade in Germany to be held outside of Berlin.
