Alexander Robotnick’s new album
April 18, 2007 | Filed Under Artists, Labels, Releases |
“My la(te)st Album” is the newest chef-d’oeuvre from Alexander Robotnick (real name Maurizio Dami), aka the (God-)father of modern electro dance and 80s Italo Disco. You may expect the album to be released on the Hot Elephant imprint by May 7th. For this album, Robotnick selected 13 tracks out of the 40 he produced in the past 3 years, using almost entirely the same equipment he had in the early 80s. All music was composed and produced on such analogic synths and drum-machines as the Roland SH101 and TB303, the Korg Mono-Poly, the TR808 and TR909 and the Prophet 5.
