Freshly Composted vol.2
February 27, 2007 | Filed Under Labels, Releases |
German independent label Compost Records celebrates it’s 250th release with the second volume of “Freshly Composted”. The compilation presents an overview of the biggest releases on the imprint over the course of 2006 and also provides an exclusive forecast to the new Ben Mono album which is going to be released in early spring. Besides Ben’s sneak preview “Jesus Was A B-Boy” there are six more tracks on this CD which were previously only available on 12“ vinyl like the breathtaking remixes by Carl Craig, Moodymann, Todd Terje or Robag Wruhme.
Just as the first one, this second installment of Freshly Composted leaves behind stylistic boundaries and offers a diversified mixture of disco, house, techno, soul, jazz, a little bit of pop and cosmic.
